Remedy Creation: |
|
We do not always plan to make particular
products often it simply evolves from
our wanderings in the wild and which
plants show themselves to us.
We like to involve ourselves i
n as much of the creative processes as
possible and many of the plants are
grown in our garden in Northaw Village. |
|
The hedgerows and fields of Herts, are our main picking ground but Northumberland, Yorkshire, Cumbria and Lancashire have also graced us with their bountiful treasures.

In essence, wherever we are, weather permitting, we collect and always with care and respect. |
|
Because of the way we work our products are constantly changing and evolving with the seasons.
We are particularly interested in using the less commonly used but abundantly growing herbs such as daisy and heather.
Recognisable to all, these plants are often overlooked in the modern herbalist's materia medica in favour of more fashionable Chinese, Indian
or North American plants. These plants need to be transported
across the globe at a high expense to our environment. Many of these
fashionable
plants are becoming endangered, sources are often unknown and there is a greater risk of contamination. |
