The Self-care task today was all about creating an altar. We intend your altar space to be something you can come back to daily throughout the Pathway to Peace to help you to bring focus and your awareness to each day, it is not religious and holds no dogma but more a creative outlet to serve your experience.
You are encouraged to bring natural items such as stones, leaves, flowers, feathers etc. that you find on your walks. We encourage you to sit with your altar daily – light a candle and take a few moments of peace just to sit and look at your creation.
It can be thought of as a collage of your experiences.
Did you manage to create an altar today?
Visiting your journal regularly will enable space for reflection and also written words, doodles, drawings and potentially collage for you to look back over the journey. We use journaling in our personal practice and find it a great outlet for expression and contemplation.
Journals are also a great place to write notes on each of the herbs that you learn about, your own personal herbal.
